Passionate about up-cycling furniture...
As you can probably guess, we’re passionate about up-cycling furniture!
In a society where too much is mass-produced and considered disposable, we want to inspire people like you to make time to be creative. Kick back and spend quality time doing something you care about. Breathe new life into a chest of drawers; produce an original focal point for your lounge; make a special gift for someone who means a lot to you. We’re here to help. That’s what we’re about.
Old fashioned paint with vintage knobs on top...
And that’s why we’ve chosen a delicious range of good quality, old fashioned, low odour paint which produces a gorgeous effect on wood – and a host of other materials too. There are varnishes, waxes, stains and other finishing effects to enhance your up-cycling project. With knobs on top!
Fun workshops...
If you're a bit nervous about doing your own thing, come along to one of our workshops to meet like-minded people who need a bit of guidance in releasing their inner creative. We’re hoping our website will help you find what you’re looking for to add another (enjoyable) dimension to your life….
Commissions...
So do get in touch – whether to ask advice, find out more about joining a small workshop, or to commission Megan to transform a piece of furniture if you don’t have time to do so yourself! Send us an email via the Contact Us page with details on the piece of furniture you would like painted.
Who is behind the Vintage Paint Store...
Megan is the inspiration and energy behind The Vintage Paint Store. As a mom of numerous kids and dogs, running a busy home and a holiday cottage in Devon www.tinkerscottage.co.uk, she realised she still had time to turn her hobby into a business.
Buy online or visit one of Megan’s fun workshops at 62 Cornwall Road, Sutton, Surrey.
