Fun and interactive workshops are held in my sudio at Wimbledon Art Sudios and are an introduction to using vintage style chalk paint for updating furniture and other home accessories. On the last Thursday and Friday of the month I run a two day "open studio" called No Mess at Home for those of you who want to paint a piece of furniture but do not have the space or inclination to paint at home.

 

What to expect...

Our aim is that, once you've completed the workshop, you will have the confidence to tackle painting and up-cycling projects of your own at home.

 

During the workshop you will learn...

• about Grand Illusions Vintage Paint & its palette

• preparation of different surfaces

• ageing techniques 

• finishing using varnish or wax in order to get the best results 

 

What's included...

• paint brushes

• all the paint and accessories

• sample boards and a wooden tea tray to paint during the day
