At The Vintage Paint Store we understand the importance of getting your order to you as quickly as possible and at as fair a price as possible. Therefore, we try to only sell items that we have in stock and aim to dispatch your order within 2 working days of receiving cleared payment.
For orders under £100 packing and postage is charged at a flat rate of £4.95 per order for the UK mainland and £9.95 for Scottish Highlands and Islands.
Delivery is FREE for all orders over £100 to the UK mainland.
Most items are posted out with the Royal Mail on a Second Class servcie and should be with you in 2-4 days. Larger orders are sent with our courier company, My Hermes on a 2-4 day service. If you have a 'safe place' for My Hermes to leave your order should you not be in when your order is delivered please email us details of your 'safe place' to pass onto our couriers.
However, on some pieces of furniture delivery may be 2-4 weeks. Please contact us for a delivery date prior to placing your order.
Delivery of orders will be made to the address shown on your order form. It is important that this address is accurate.
For express deliveries another courier company, such as UPS, may be used.
The Vintage Paint Store cannot be held responsible for circumstances beyond our control, which may result in the delay of your order, such as adverse weather conditions, industrial action etc.
If your goods fail to arrive within 10 working days please contact us via telephone on 07552 936852 or email us at info@thevintagepaintstore.com.
You will have been advised during the order process if an item is, unfortunately, out of stock and we will try to dispatch such an item as soon as possible. If after 21 days we are still unable to do so we will contact you and ask if you wish to continue with the order or have your money refunded.

Cancellation & Returns
In the unlikely event that you are not completely satisfied with your order under the Distance Selling Regulations (2000) you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your order. You must notify The Vintage Paint Store within 14 days of your decision via email at returns@thevintagepaintstore.com or by telephone on 07552 936852.
Just return the product in its original packaging for a full refund of the purchase price, excluding any delivery or collection charges. In this instance the cost of returning the product will be borne by the customer. We will refund the purchase price of the product via Paypal to your credit or debit card account upon receiving the product back to us in perfect condition. It is recommended that proof of postage is obtained for any product sent back to us.
Return of Damaged or Faulty Goods
If your order arrives and a product is damaged or faulty in any way please accept our most sincere apologies and notify The Vintage Paint as soon as possible via email returns@thevintagepaintstore.com or by telephone on 07552 936852 within 48 hours of receipt. We will advise you as whether to return the product and ascertain as to whether you are seeking an exchange or a refund.
Upon receipt of the product and verification of the damage or fault, The Vintage Paint Store will either refund the full purchase price or send you a replacement product depending upon your instructions and the availability of the product. In either case we will refund the return postage costs, unless we arranged for collection of the product.
We may ask for photographic evidence of any breakages for insurance purposes.
